Look at me, 4 1/2 months and I'm starting to sit up on my own. I can't pull myself up yet, but once someone helps me I can hold my own!!!

Who needs a paci when your hand tastes this good.

Mom just thought I was constipated.

Is Luke following Mommy's footsteps?

Monday, August 17, 2009

Mommy and Luke's first duet. He is just a little over four months now and growing up so fast. He has been rolling over from his back to his stomach on his left side and really enjoying his new skill. Except he can't quite roll back over to his back and it really ticks him off (especially in the middle of the night).

My Mom, my older sister Regina and her two kids, Jade (4) and Roman (2) came to visit me this week. Aren't they so cute!!

My niece Jade sitting in the windowsill of my kitchen, she is such a poser!!!

Deep thoughts by a four year old. I wonder what she is thinking about? World Peace?

Luke and his Nana. Ohhh!

Ya for tummy time, it was our first time to not cry as soon as we were on our belly.

Here is Daddy sleeping on the job!

Here is Luke taking an emergency cool down bath in the bathroom sink.
Our AC decided to stop working with my family in town.
It was nice and toasted for the day.

Luke hopefully will be laid back like his Daddy, but it looks like he's gonna talk like his Momma.

If I could just reach a little further, that bear woul be in trouble.
The picture above is Luke with his Tai Pa on the 4th of July in McKinney.

SUPER BABY!!!!!!!!!
We have done a bunch of traveling over the summer. Jonathan always says he's glad when school starts because he gets to see us more. Her is Luke and his Grampa. See any resemblance

The picture above is Luke with his Great Grams.
He and I definitely made the family rounds in T-Town.

Okay, I couldn't resist. In this photo Luke is just a couple days away from 11 weeks. He's been smiling since around eight weeks. This was the first time I could catch him in a half smile.

Luke's first adventure in the Bumbo, so far so good.
Can you believe how well he is holding up his head?!?

Here is a picture of my niece Jade, she just turned 4 in June.
It doesn't seem that long ago when I was carrying her in a carrier.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

Tuesday, June 16, 2009

Okay, I should write more often I have lots to tell. Luke and I were in Tulsa last week seeing the grandfolks, and we even made a stop over in Norman to see my sisters, brother -in-law and my niece and nephew. It is so cute to see my niece (she turned four June 5) feed Luke. He's not really sure what to think about her yet. But I'm not sure what she thinks about him.

This is my nephew Roman, he just turned 2 May 1st. He fell asleep like this in the car. Does he remind anyone of a Star Trek or Reading Rainbow character?

Bath time is quickly becoming one of our favorite activities.

Luke's first time in his walker. Luke hanging out with Nana.

Mommy and Luke's first conversation.

What can I say, you can't help but love me.

Daddy and Luke
Yeah, I was cute from the very beginning.
Okay, well everyone has been telling me I need to start a blog. I thought with my new son finally here now would be the time. I'm not sure where to start, everyone who will read this already knows the important info. Our son Luke was born April 14, 2009 at 11:13a.m., he was 6lbs. 15oz. He is almost seven weeks and weighed in last Thursday at almost 9lbs. We are all really excited to see him gaining weight.

We are all starting to get into a routine now, he is pretty much in a 3 hour cycle. Eat, play, sleep and repeat. During the night is close to the same minus the play time. Every once in a while he will sleep almost four hours. That is exciting times.

I guess that's all that's been going on lately. I'm ready for school to be out, since almost everyone I know is still in school.

Oh, Jonathan wanted me to explain my blog title "Like the restaurant", it's what I always say when people ask me to spell my last name. Umm, not sure why it's hard to spell. Before I was married I would say Simon, like Simon Says.
